John Mei

John works with KLH's portfolio companies to translate strategy, budgets, and forecasts into detailed execution plans, coordinating at all levels to help secure and grow company performance. He has over 25 years of broad financial and operational experience spanning manufacturing, industrials, environmental services, defense, and timber and wood products. John has worked with companies ranging from $15 million to $500 million in revenue, in both private equity-backed and privately owned environments. He has held CFO positions across a diverse set of industries and has a demonstrated track record of financial restructuring, debt refinancing, EBITDA improvement, and operational transformation. Most recently, John served as CFO of Edwards Wood Products and prior to that as CFO of Cormetech, a private equity-backed environmental services company. Earlier in his career, John held CFO roles at Sam's Holdings, Pegasus Steel, Channel Technologies Group, and several other businesses, and began his career as an Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand. John holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
