As a partner at KLH, Will is involved in all functions of the firm including originating, structuring, and executing new investments as well as portfolio management. During his tenure at KLH, he has participated in over 35 transactions, including platform investments, add-on acquisitions, and refinancing’s. He serves on the board of directors for all KLH portfolio companies and is directly responsible for overseeing Ground Works Solutions, BluSky Restoration Holdings, and Mid-State Machine and Fabricating. Additionally, he is a member of the KLH Investment Committee, oversees investor relations for the firm, and is the main contact for the firm’s limited partners.
Will, who grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and minored in aerospace engineering. Prior to joining KLH, he spent time with Rothschild Investment Banking’s mergers and acquisitions group in New York. He serves on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth Tampa Bay Chapter and is active on the membership and Emerging Professionals steering committees.
Will enjoys spending time with his wife and family who share his interests in golf, soccer, sporting clays and boating.
James, a partner at KLH Capital, is responsible for identifying, structuring and executing transactions, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management. He is a member of the KLH Investment Committee and is responsible for all SBIC compliance. He serves on the board of directors for all KLH portfolio companies and is directly responsible for overseeing QRS-Tragon, BMI Merchandise, Data Display Systems and Atchafalaya Measurement. He is an independent director at Federal Resources Supply Company, a former portfolio company.
Before joining KLH, he served as CFO and interim CEO at Recovery Holdings, LLC, a provider of outsourced business processes to banks and auto finance companies. Earlier, James spent more than five years as a senior associate with Founders Investment Banking, where he worked on sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, growth financings, and sale leaseback transactions.
James, a Mobile, Alabama native, graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth Tampa Bay Chapter. He is also a member of Covenant Life Church and is active in a number of para-church ministries.
James is married with three young girls. He loves being on the boat, skiing, riding horses, reading and watching movies. When James is on the road, a podcast is playing. He is currently listening to Dan Carlin’s “Hardcore History,” The Tim Ferris Show and “Masters in Business” by Barry Ritholtz.
Chris is a partner with KLH Capital and has been with the firm since 2009. He is primarily responsible for transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis, portfolio management, and fund management. He serves on the board of directors for Atchafalaya Measurement, BluSky Restoration, BMI Merchandise, and Premiere Seals. Chris began his career at Wachovia Securities’ Investment Banking Division, where he worked on a variety of leveraged finance transactions.
Chris graduated with distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. An avid traveler, Chris loves taking spontaneous vacations with his wife. He also enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, and visiting microbreweries. He is originally from Columbus, Ohio.
Kyle is a partner with KLH Capital and leads the firm’s business development efforts. He is primarily responsible for identifying, structuring and executing transactions. He serves on the board of directors for BMI Merchandise, Mid-State Machine and Fabricating and Data Display Systems. Prior to joining the private equity group in 2009, he was involved in a variety of brokerage-related capacities within the insurance industry. An active member of the industry, he serves on the board of directors of the M&A Source and was the 2013 chairman of the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA).
Kyle is a native of Amherst, New Hampshire. He graduated from the University of Tampa’s John H. Sykes College of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He enjoys fishing, boating, snow skiing, and spending time with his wife, Christine.
As a partner at KLH Capital, Josh is responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing transactions, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management. He is a member of the KLH Investment Committee and sits on the board of Premiere Seals. Prior to joining KLH, Josh served as a Senior Principal at Enhanced Capital Group. Earlier in his career, Josh was Vice President and Head of Business Development for Linx Partners, Vice President and Co-Head of Transaction Origination for Florida Capital Partners and Senior Analyst in the investment banking department of Legg Mason Wood Walker.
Josh, a Florida native, is a 2001 graduate of the University of Richmond’s E. Claiborne Robins School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Josh is married with two young sons. He loves spending time with his family, chasing fish on and under the water, and hunting with his bird dog, Tilly.
John is a co-founder and special advisor of KLH Capital, where he helps oversee the firm’s investment decisions. Over the course of his career, he has successfully identified, facilitated, and invested in more than 130 lower-middle market businesses.
In 1988, John co-founded Florida Capital Partners (FCP), an institutionally backed professional investment firm, where he helped raise and invest five funds of more than $750 million in capital. John began his career with Chemical Venture Partners, the venture capital division of Chemical Bank, now part of JPMorganChase. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
As an active proponent of education reform, he has served as president of the national nonprofit Children First America, which created and implemented programs for helping low-income parents find educational choices for their children. In addition, he founded the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Tampa Bay in 1998, and since 2001 has chaired its successor organization, Step Up for Students, which provides over 100,000 scholarships to low-income Florida children each year. He is currently vice chairman of the American Federation for Children, a national school choice advocacy organization.
Jeff is a co-founder and special advisor of KLH Capital, where he shares responsibility for guiding the firm’s investment decisions. During his career, he has successfully identified, facilitated, and invested in more than 130 lower-middle market businesses.
Jeff co-founded Florida Capital Partners (FCP) with John Kirtley in 1988 in Tampa, Florida. At this institutionally backed investment firm, one of the earliest to focus on lower-middle market companies, he was directly responsible for successfully investing in more than 100 small businesses through recapitalizations, management buy-outs and buy-ins, family successions, and other ownership transactions.
Prior to his roles at FCP and KLH, Jeff was a general partner at Chemical Venture Partners in New York after launching his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, where he has been a member of the board of trustees for the McIntire School of Commerce Foundation since 2009.
Jeff serves on the board of Mercy & Sharing: Haiti Children, a nonprofit organization that provides care and education to abandoned, orphaned, and disabled Haitian children, and coached youth sports for a number of years. Jeff is an avid international traveler, having been to the North and South poles, and 100 countries in-between. He is also a duck whisperer who calls ducks to his dock on Lake Norman, NC.
Michael is responsible for transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management in his associate post at KLH. Prior to joining KLH, he interned with the private equity group Foundry Capital in Atlanta, Georgia. Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. Michael passed all three CFA examinations in three consecutive years, and now holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
From climbing Kilimanjaro and jumping out of airplanes to sea kayaking and shark dives, Michael has always been an adventurer. He enjoys traveling and wants to see the new 7 Wonders of the World. He is from Melbourne, Florida.
Ron is an associate with KLH and focuses on identifying investment opportunities, financial analysis, structuring and executing transactions, and due diligence. Prior to joining KLH, Ron served as an Assistant Vice President at USAmeriBank, where his responsibilities included origination, analysis, and transaction execution on lower middle market senior loans.
Ron graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and earned a J.D. from Stetson College of Law. A Tampa native, Ron is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time on the water.
Graham is responsible for transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis and portfolio management in his associate role at KLH. Prior to joining KLH, Graham served as an analyst and then associate in the Chicago office of PMCF, the investment banking affiliate of Plante Moran. While at PMCF, he completed numerous transactions across the industrial distribution, niche manufacturing and automotive sectors.
Graham graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and earned a Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Florida.
He enjoys participating in recreational sports ranging from flag football to ice hockey and is also an avid golfer. He is an active supporter of local animal shelters and currently houses five full-time rescue pets (three dogs and two cats). Graham is originally from Andover, Massachusetts.
Jimbo is responsible for transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis and portfolio management. Prior to joining KLH, Jimbo interned with the Atlanta office of Greene Holcomb Fisher, a middle-market investment bank. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History, and earned a Masters of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
Jimbo is from Atlanta, GA, “the greatest city in America.” He’s an outdoorsman who enjoys being on the water and spending fall afternoons hunting. He also plays in a number of recreational sports leagues.
Kerri joined KLH in 2016 to lead the firm’s marketing efforts. Prior to joining KLH, she spent 12 years in various capacities with Raymond James’ Investment Banking Group. A native of Long Island, Kerri graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She is an active volunteer at her church and children’s school. Kerri was a competitive gymnast through college and still wins handstand contests against her kids.
Nancy has been with KLH’s founding principals for over 20 years in her current capacity. She is responsible for all office and administrative functions for the firm.
